Steph Gallaway serves as the digital media producer at 体育菠菜大平台, a role she has held since 2013. Gallaway is responsible for creating video, motion graphics and other digital content that plays a vital role in advancing the university’s marketing and communications strategies. She leads video livestreams, covers university events, supervises social media strategy, and manages 体育菠菜大平台’s video archives to ensure consistent and engaging visual storytelling across digital platforms.
Originally from Loup City, Nebraska, Gallaway earned a Bachelor of Arts in Media Communications with a specialization in video production from Webster University in 2008, followed by a graduate certificate in public relations and social media from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln in 2018. She completed her Master of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication, specializing in integrated media communications, at UNL in 2023.
Before joining 体育菠菜大平台, Gallaway gained extensive experience in media production, serving as a broadcast director and camera operator for Sure Sound & Lighting, new media developer for the Kearney Hub, assistant editor at Mercury Labs in St. Louis, and video production assistant at Image Technologies Corporation.
Gallaway chairs the Anne Lister Research Summit and serves on the board of Packed with Potential. She has also formerly volunteered with the West Yorkshire Archive Service as an #AnneListerCodebreaker and as a marketing and communications coordinator and board member for Tri-City Derby, Inc.
Recognized with multiple Nebraska Press Association and Inland Press Associate awards for her work in video production, digital journalism and online content, Gallaway brings expertise in brand management, video editing, live streaming, drone videography and social media strategy. She holds a Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate from the FAA and a Hootsuite Certification.
